What do you love most about libraries? That they serve under-served communities!
What are your favorite audiobooks? I love the classics on audio. But recent favorites include American Wolf by Nate Blakeslee, read by Mark Bramhall, Year of the Monkey written and read by Patti Smith, The Bluest Eye written and read by Toni Morrison, The Dharma Bums by Jack Kerouac read by Ethan Hawke, Educated by Tara Westover, read by Julia Whelan, and Room to Dream written and read by David Lynch and Kristine McKenna.
Fun personal fact: I’ve been writing poetry since first grade: “Sick in bed with a stuffed up head/Walking Dizzy, poor little Lizzy!”

What do you love most about libraries? I love that libraries offer us infinite possibilities.
What are your favorite audiobooks? Hidden Bodies by Caroline Kepnes, narrated by Santino Fontana. The writing is phenomenal, because you find yourself rooting for the bad guy, which I find to be rare. Also, I love Santino Fontana’s speaking and singing voice! He’s great! I am really looking forward to listening to Providence by Caroline Kepnes!
Any of the Charley Davidson Series by Darynda Jones, narrated by Lorelei King. Darynda Jones is so witty! I often find myself laughing out loud when I’m listening! Lorelei King really brings the characters to life! I’ve started seeking out other audiobooks that she narrates! Also, The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, narrated by Jim Dale. I received this audiobook as a Christmas gift a few years ago. I didn’t have any expectations, so I started listening without reading the synopsis. WOW! This audiobook was so beautiful and whimsical! Jim Dale was perfect! He really brought the characters to life!
Fun personal fact: I LOVE musical theater!!! Whether it’s going to a show or being in one, I’m up for it!!

Where are you based? I work out of the Penguin Random House office in Westminster, Maryland.
What is your BOT account territory? I serve as the rep for libraries in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States (OH, WV, VA, PA, DC, MD, DE, NJ, NY, CT, RI, MA, VT, NH, and ME). I’ve been a part of the Penguin Random House and Books on Tape community since 2013, and have enjoyed every minute of being able share my love of reading with libraries around the country.
Fun personal fact: With an educational background in anthropology and science, I also enjoy spending free time on genealogical research, visiting museums, kayaking, sewing, and of course reading/listening to a variety of books.
What are your favorite audiobooks? One of my all-time favorite titles on audio is Boston Jane by Jennifer Holm. Narrator Jessalyn Gilsig brings the characters brilliantly to life, transporting listeners back to the frontier days. Based on the facts above, you have probably guessed that historical titles are of special interest to me, but I also enjoy biographies/memoirs, nonfiction, and classics (with the occasional bestseller thrown in for good measure).
