On the Road, Promotions & Events Living Language and #PoweredLibraries at TLA 2016

What does creativity and motivation look like at your library?

living_languageLiving Language is thrilled to sponsor the launch party of the Texas Library Association’s new campaign, Ideas Powered: It’s What We Do. The campaign will showcase innovation, technology-centered work, and dynamic leadership in libraries. Will you be at #TXLA16? Don’t miss the opening night party!

Plus, be sure to spend some time at the interactive IDEAS WALL that will gather librarians’ thoughts and statements – by way of illustrations and written words.

The wall is also populated with Living Language’s signature speech bubbles with words such as creativity and innovation in various languages. Children’s book illustrators will draw librarians’ ideas on the wall during the opening night event – then the wall will remain up throughout the conference so anyone can add to it as they please.

The lineup of confirmed illustrators on opening night, April 19th, is as follows:

5:40pm – 6:00pm Greg Pizzoli

6:00pm – 6:20pm Dan Santat

6:20pm – 6:40pm Raul the Third

6:40pm – 7:00pm Don Tate

7:00pm – 7:30pm Bill Megenhardt
