Sharon Dogar is the author of Waves and Annexed. At school she was taught English by Philip Pullman, and the two have remained good friends ever since. He helped Dogar realize that others might appreciate the stories she had been writing for her own enjoyment all her life. For the last ten years she's also worked with adolescents as a psychotherapist. Dogar lives in Oxford, England, with her husband and children.
