Collection Development Win FROZEN SOLID on CD this winter!

***Please note this contest has ended. But you can still click on the cover below to learn more about this terrific title. Thanks for visiting our website!***
Don’t headphones make great earmuffs? We think so! What better way to warm up than by listening to a thrilling audiobook? Whether your patrons are stuck with extra long commutes due to woeful weather, or they’re dreading heading out to shovel their driveways, recommending an audiobook is the perfect way to help any reader get through a polar vortex!

(Hilarious and true story: Our CD library packaging is so sturdy, one librarian at ALA Midwinter told us she used an audiobook case as a snow scraper on her windshield when she couldn’t find her snow brush! Audiobooks do inspire creativity…)

We’re celebrating the CD this week by giving you the chance to add a more desirable type of chill to an already frigid winter. (At least for us east coasters!) James Tabor’s FROZEN SOLID has received rave reviews and is narrated by fan favorite Paul Michael (Inferno). So take off those mittens for just a minute and fill out the simple form below to enter for a chance to win! Six lucky librarians will send patrons to the South Pole via this perfectly chilling winter listen.

The Andromeda Strain meets The Thing. Effectively blending horror with the science thriller, Tabor keeps readers on edge from beginning to end.”—Booklist

“Tabor’s not the first genre writer to take advantage of the forbidding conditions at the South Pole, but few have done so to better effect.”—Publishers Weekly (starred review)

CONTEST: Open to librarians in the U.S. only; entrants must provide library name and address of employment in section below. Limit one (1) entry per person. No purchase necessary. Six (6) winners will be randomly selected to win the audiobook shown above on CD. Prize will be shipped to library address. Contest ends at 11:59 PST, Sunday, February 16, 2014.
