Review and Rating Guidelines

Please follow the guidelines below to make sure your review is published.

1. Each review must be no longer than 200 words.
2. Books and readers can be rated from 1 to 7 where 7 is the highest possible score.
3. To make your review more useful, we recommend that you discuss why you liked or disliked a particular title or reader.
4. When writing a review, please make sure not to include:
   • inappropriate language (i.e. profanity, obscenities, racial slurs)
   • personal or account information (i.e. name, phone number, credit card)
   • plot information
   • price and availability information
   • alternative ordering methods
   • comments about other reviews or reviewers
   • general comments or suggestions about our service
5. You may rate a book or reader without writing a review. You may not review a book without submitting a rating. Individual ratings and reviews will only be posted as a pair.
6. You may only submit one rating and review per title.
7. Please use our name properly. When you are referring to our company, please use, "Books on Tape, Inc." When you are referring to our brand of audiobooks, please use, "BOOKS ON TAPE(R) audiobooks." For more information, please see the following examples:
   • Incorrect usage:
     • "I love books on tape!"
     • "Books on tape are the best!"
   • Correct usage:
     • "I love Books on Tape, Inc." or "I love BOOKS ON TAPE(R) audiobooks!"
     • "BOOKS ON TAPE(R) audiobooks are the best!"
