How Our Service Works

The consumer arm of BOT prides itself in offering the very best unabridged audiobooks. Formally known for a direct-by-mail rental service, BOT continues to offer unabridged recordings for purchase only on CD. Audiobook downloads are available through Audible.com

You may notice that the length of some books makes it necessary to split them into two or more parts -- each of which counts as one purchase. We indicate this by using subsequent letters of the alphabet. For Example: Part A is part one, Part B is part two.

BOT will charge your credit card for all orders at the time they are shipped. This includes pre-orders which make be placed 45 days in advance of a title's on-sale date.

We regret that due to publisher contract terms we cannot sell our books to customers outside the United States and its territories.

Shipping & Delivery

We are proud to offer you a wide variety of different shipping options. These include USPS Priority and Media Mail (not guaranteed); UPS Ground; UPS Air 2-day and 1-day service.

Because most of our titles are not available to ship immediately, please make sure you check the "Ships Within" timeframe to determine when we may be able to ship your book. You must account for processing and delivery when considering the total delivery time to your doorstep.

Our Readers

We use professionally trained actors and radio narrators who read in state-of-the-art studios. Our main recording facility is located in the L.A. area and is responsible for all BOT audiobook productions. Each narrator interprets their readings with sincerity and intelligence, resulting in critical acclaim from customers, professional reviewers, and librarians.

Our Selections

We choose only books with strong literary integrity, which prove themselves through bestsellers lists, through academic review, and through time.

Our Content

Generally, books published after 1945 may contain content that is unsuitable for children or is offensive and includes profanity, graphic violence and explicit sexuality. However, Books for Young Readers and Classics, are generally suitable for family listening.

Our books are for your personal use and may not be played before an audience, broadcast or commercially exploited in any way. We are not responsible for the content of our books.
