FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:     Why can't I rent?

Title Description
Twenty-seven-year-old publicist Libby Mason has found the almost-perfect guy: Nick is "gorgeous," fun to talk to, and great in bed - but he's perpetually strapped for cash and allergic to commitment. Along comes Ed, he of the Big Fat Bank Account and a longing for stability, who is nonetheless stodgy, awkward, and lousy in the sack. What to do? Can Libby join the class of ladies who lunch yet still have her dream lover? In this romantic comedy, British sensation Jane Green spins a classic tale of what happens to a girl when her heart and her head aren't looking for the same thing. This laugh-a-minute story has a charming way with dialogue and sex scenes; a cheerful summer read that turns the fairy tale romance on its head.

"It's as frothy as a cappuccino - you'll want to gulp it down." (Essentials Magazine)

I am a man and a history buff so I listened to this light book as a lark. I do have a sense of humor and gave it a chance. It gave me a few laughs and there is a good moral to the story. Read it if you want something light and pleasant.

Kate Reading gives a simply bravura performance. She obviously read the book carefully, making notes on the voice needed for each situation. The book itself was fun, but her reading made it a delight. She is simply one of your best readers

Jane Green did a fine job of writing a book solely from the prospective of a 27-year-old foul-mouthed nit. The question is: Why?

Truly Libby Mason is one of the most vacuous and, much more importantly, least interesting voices in a novel that I've come across.
