| With an old fashioned style and flavor, this series is good, clean fun. The reader really brings the character alive. |

| The second in this series is funnier than the first. I think the reader is marvelous. OK, I'm not from North Carolina, but Ms. White's voices and accents sound genuine to me - I thoroughly enjoy how she gives life to the characters. |

| It helps to already know and love the characters but Miss Julia does it again in this one. There's a little of everything--fast cars, small town politics, one smart boy, and of course Miss Julia who brings it all together as only she can. |
