Title Description
Just beyond the city's neon strip, Las Vegas Metro police discover the corpse of a young and beautiful showgirl. Even in a city known for its excesses, this crime sets a record for the animalistic destruction of the body. Detective Sergeant Romulus Poe takes over the investigation. He notes this murder's resemblance to an earlier one and sets to work with a team that includes Rukmani Kalil, his girlfriend and a forensic pathologist. Together they follow leads that are colder than the corpse. Then the killer strikes again, this time giving them their break.
