Title Description
Benedict Juliard has only one wish: to ride as an amateur jockey in steeplechase races. His father, George Juliard, a rising politician, asks his son to forswear any act that might injure his (George's) hopes for advancement. Benedict agrees lightheartedly -- not knowing what lies ahead.

Benedict soon becomes the target of vicious attacks from his father's enemies, men who will stop at nothing to derail George's career.
