Title Description
Letitia Thornquist, a librarian in the Midwest, just inherited the family sporting goods business, an industry giant. She's green in business and in the dark about sports, but at least she's enthusiastic. How will she learn?

Joel Blackstone, the company's CEO, can teach her, but he dreads the thought of it. Then he sees that under Letitia's conservative navy suit lurks a vital and sensuous woman. After he plays mentor, he'd like to talk about a merger.

"A breezy tale of love conquering all." (Publishers Weekly)

I found this audiobook extraordinarily enjoyable. The book has very funny dialogue, compelling main characters, believable and entertaining minor characters, realistic and interesting settings, satire that remains timely, suspense, and intelligent romance. Mary Peiffer has done a beautiful job in bringing the book to life. I've listened to the audiobook several times, and it remains as entertaining as is was on the first listening.
