As he approaches his 29th birthday, Jake Cantrell believes his life has completely stalled. Saddened by the failure of his marriage to Amy, his childhood sweetheart, Jake moves to Kent, Connecticut to concentrate on his new business. Jake's a brilliant electrical engineer.
He meets Maggie Sorrell, nearly 44, who has also recently moved to Kent after her husband left her for a younger woman. An interior designer, Maggie's renovating an old farmhouse for a client and she hires Jake as the electrical contractor. They fall in love and face obstacles: their age difference; Amy's reluctance to divorce Jake; Maggie's inner turmoil over her relationship with her two grown children. But together, Jake and Maggie beat the odds and find happiness in another town.

| An excellent love story, where age is ageless. It shows you that age is only a state of mind. A great story for easy listening. Very relaxing and enjoyable to listen to while driving. Great for us over the "Hill" gals. (Sorry, but that is my opinion.)Actually, no matter what your age, you should enjoy this story. |
