Title Description
An American tourist falls to her death among Roman ruins. An old woman keels over from a supposed heart attack in London's Tate Gallery. Another woman dies of "natural causes" at Exeter Cathedral. Do the deaths have a common link?

Not much of one until Richard Jury, Scotland Yard Chief Superintendent, finds a common thread that leads him to Santa Fe, New Mexico. There he meets the American tourist's 13-year-old sister, who believes the fall was no accident. With few clues and many distractions from the wacko locals, Jury follows his insights to solve the crimes and head off another murder.

"Vintage Grimes, which means a top-notch mystery." (Booklist)

This book kept me riveted, I listen when I drive and I found myself sitting in parking lots listening til the end of the chapter...Donada Peters is my favorite reader, in fact I have started choosing books to listen to by seeing her name as the reader. I guessed the method a few chapters ahead of the hero, but I actually enjoy beating the hero and seeing if I am correct, I find it much more satisfying than those authors who turn up the vital clues in the last few pages. I am actively seeking out the rest of this series. I started them out of order and am now planning to start again from the beginning. I believe that anyone who enjoys detective/mystery stories will enjoy this series.
