Title Description
They were the young ones, the bright ones, the ones with the dreams. From the wastes of North Africa to the bloody corridors of Europe, they answered the call gladly.

War -- it was their duty, their job, their life. They marched off as boys and they came back -- those who made it -- as soldiers and professionals, forged in the heat of battle.

"Captures the rhythms of WW II army life... an absorbing account of life among military men." (Publishers Weekly)

THE LIEUTENANTS is the first in W.E.B. Griffin's Brotherhood of War series.

Another oustanding series from the pen of Mr Griffin. He brings his characters off the page which kept my attention throughout this history/fiction of WW II.

A real page turner! I listen to audiobooks in my car. I found myself taking long drives and sitting in my car after arriving home listening to the book. W.E.B. Griffin's "The Lieutenants" is one of the most enjoyable books I have listened to recently. His fictional characters mixed into real life history, makes for a learning experience as well.

This is the one that started it all. Begin with this book and hold on tight for a great ride that will last for thirty, yes thirty, more books! Griffin is outstanding. His characters will become people you know, and know well. These tapes you may want to buy - that's how good the books are.

W.E.B. is the greatest! If you haven't heard one of his books you don't know what you are missing. His stories just make me want to hear more.
