Interestering and informative. Despite the fact that the writing is dense with historic fact and complexity, the book remains entertaining and tells a suspenseful story. Very helpful in understanding current international relations between the west and the arab nations.

Dense, rich and brimming with instruction. Too thick with detail to yield easy simplification, but manageably organized and full of telling anecdotes. A few years old, but not at all outdated in out time of trouble.
