Title Description
In the eyes of her peers Marissa Blumenthal has it all: a superb professional reputation, a flourishing pediatrics practice and a fairy-tale marriage. But the one thing Marissa does not have and desperately wants is a child.

When tests confirm Marissa's infertility, she refuses to believe it. She breaks into the offices of the Boston fertility clinic where she is being treated. There she makes a frightening discovery that turns her dreams slowly, agonizingly to dread.

"Robin Cooks is nimble at stitching together the ingredients of terror, suspense, intrigue and medical expertise." (The New York Times)

Good story with a topical twist from Cook. It did drag in places but over all good book.
